Tuesday, 08 November 2016
The eighth and final event of the 2016 Solo Championship seaon was the deciding event for the the overall Championship..  ODR had two drivers, Andy Carr and Steve Fehr, separated by five (5) points heading into the event.  If Andy took first place and Steve took second place, Andy would win the overall championship.  If Steve took first and Andy took second, both driver would be ties in points and have an equal number of first and second place finishes necessating special tie-breaking rules too complicated to explain here.  Each driver received five (5) timed runs.  In the end, Andy took first place as Steve coned his fifth and fastest run (see below).  Congratulations to both Andy and Steve for any exciting season that went all the way down to the final run before deciding the championship!
