Old Dominion Region of the SCCA

The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) is a non-profit organization comprised of about 50,000 members who are dedicated to motorsports, primarily at the grassroots level. Active members enjoy many events offered by the SCCA including road racing, Solo events, and Rally. The SCCA is divided into divisions containing regions. The Old Dominion Region (Number 63) is part of the Southeast Division (SEDiv), which consists of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and and Virginia.    Our Region includes all of the cities in the Hampton Roads area as well as several surounding cities.  We primarily host two types of events: Solo and Road Rally.   If you are interested in joining the SCCA, you can complete the membership application on the SCCA national website.

Looking for a little number to call your own?
11-solo-contingency.jpgIt's getting close to our first spring Solo event so now is the time to get your permanent ODR-SCCA number... You must be an SCCA member, but not necessary of the Old Dominion Region, to have your season-long number.  Please e-mail me with the following information to lock-in your number:

1.  First and last name as you would like them to appear in the results for each event

2.  Your SCCA number and region

3.  The permanent number that you want for the season

3a.  If the permanent number is larger than 60, which heat (1,2,3, or 4) you prefer

4.  Your car year, make, and model

5.  Your SCCA Open class and whether you intend to run in the  Ladies, Novice, or Street Tire classes.  (Remember that only Stock, Street Prepared, and Street Modified vehicles can participate in the Street Tire class.  Plus you must be a female to participate in the Ladies class. And finally, if you have participated in less than six Solo, e.g., auto-x, events in the last twelve months, you are eligible for the Novice class.  Please note that you can compete (best six out of eight) in the Novice class for only one season.)
