Old Dominion Region of the SCCA

The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) is a non-profit organization comprised of about 50,000 members who are dedicated to motorsports, primarily at the grassroots level. Active members enjoy many events offered by the SCCA including road racing, Solo events, and Rally. The SCCA is divided into divisions containing regions. The Old Dominion Region (Number 63) is part of the Southeast Division (SEDiv), which consists of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, middle & eastern Tennessee, the Blue Ridge/Shenendoah region of western Virginia, and Hampton Virginia.    Our Region includes all of the cities in the Hampton Roads area as well as several surounding cities of Emporia, Suffolk, Smithfield, Petersburg, Williamsburg, and Yorktown.  We primarily host two types of events: Solo and Road Rally.   If you are interested in joining the SCCA, you can complete the membership application on the SCCA national website .

2021 Wendi Allen Scholarship Award Fund

Cothomas_mini_at_pungo_-_small.jpgngratulations to Karen Thomas for being named as a 2021 recipient of the Wendy Allen Scholarship Fund Award!   Judging from her performance as a local auto-xer, she's well deserving of the award; and we're grateful to have her in our region.  Karen responded:  "It is definitely an honor to receive this. I’ve been to 2 nation(al) events so far this year with a lot more left on my schedule. In Dixie I was lucky enough to place in the trophies! So, I think I’m starting out 2021 pretty good. " Our own Tom Vincent commented about Karen's selection by saying "I had the honor of knowing Wendi when I was Solo Chair with Buccaneer Region, Jacksonville, Fl.  She was dedicated and successful in bringing women into the sport.  She was an awesome driver as well.  Congratulations, you deserve it!!!"  To learn more about the Wendi Allen Scholarship Award, click this link.

ODR-SCCA 2021 Solo Championship Series Autocross Schedule

We're looking forward to another great year of autocross! Please note that this schedule is tentative, and we may have to adjust some of these days. We’ll be using MotorSportReg for registration again this year.   Here is our tentative schedule with updates in red lettering. Live Timing and Scoring

ODR-SCCA is pleased to announce we've done a number of upgrades to our software including a new live timing and scoring capability!  It should update about once a minute during live runs during our event.  Refresh often for the latest results:
