Special Edition- Eastern States
Welcome Eastern States Soloists to a special early edition of the new Cone Clips: SCCA Solo News. This is an early prototype of a soon to be launched e-newsletter for the SCCA Solo Community. While this early edition is being sent to SCCA members in the eastern half of the country that have expressed an interest in Solo on their membership form, when the regular editions of Cone Clips begin they will be sent to SCCA Solo members across the country.
Cone Clipswill cover all aspects of the sport including upcoming events, rules, tech tips, expanded event coverage, and general Solo news. However, not every subject area will necessarily be covered in each issue. In an effort to keep the communication flowing, publication and distribution will not be on a set schedule, but rather will be sent as often as information comes to us that needs to get out and as time allows. This could mean once a month, twice a month, every other month, or whatever seems to be needed.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Robert Lewis and I am the new Southeast Division Solo Steward. I am a member of Dixie Region and I drive a black ’65 Mustang in CP. I have also been the Chairman of the Dixie NT in Cecil , GA for the last two years and also again this year. Karl Rickert has agreed to assist me this year. I look forward to seeing many of you at the Area 3 Annual Meeting at Jekyll Island January 16 and 17, 2009. For those of you who can not make it, I wanted to fill you in on what we have been working on.
